The youngest sons of Lehi and Sariah. They were born in the wilderness during their family's exodus from Jerusalem. They sorrowed because of the wickedness of Laman and Lemuel  and both grew to be great men of God.   Jacob was the spiritual leader of the Nephites and was entrusted with the sacred records after Nephi died.
